Joe Oppedisano: Testosterone

The hormone book: photographer Joe Oppedisano creates a world of archaic male rituals in dark cellars and dirty dungeons where things get straight down to business! Oppedisano boys do not get cut up in emotional affairs but rather by the driving force of instinct. A breath taking picture flow of blood, sweat and sex by which the observer is drawn to his own desires. The rough, the wild and the forceful in Joe Oppedisano's stylised dark pictures of men expose the animal rather than the human.
Oppedisano´s perfect stagings are rough and irresistible. The photographer is not an onlooker but is himself a part of this sexually blown up demimonde. This arena of violence, sexual dominance and humiliation makes every moment pound through the pleading of the men.
Whether in clammy underground heating cellars, slime, decrepit stairways or just simply in the toilet – whoever hangs around here too long, has lost! Treat yourself to this very special hormone therapy with this elegant 192 paged picture book in large format!
