Lindsay Lozon
All my Boys
Lindsay Lozon is a unique artist. He reduces his settings to down to the bare necessities ceding the scene to his young models. The results are refreshing, humorous and surprisingly multifaceted photographs. Lozon isn’t impressed by star allure – he is there for his models and not the other way around.

The results are refreshing, humorous and surprisingly multifaceted photographs. Lozon isn’t impressed by star allure – he is there for his models and not the other way around.
Despite their simplicity Lozon’s photographs are not just plain snapshots but instead are deliberate stagings. Their apparent simplicity is what makes these photos such a joy to behold. Lozon hardly ever shows us everything. In tantalizing poses he creates a world of surreal beauty that allows the viewer’s imagination to run riot and continue the scene where the still of the photography ends.
Lozon’s young men are consistently slim, smooth and athletic – but each of them has their own special character. ALL MY BOYS goes much further than mere pin-up photography! For the first time the photographer also presents portraits in color – delicious!
Lindsay Lozon lives in Canada and works for prestigious fashion magazines and advertising agencies. Lozon has quickly established himself as one of Canada’s most important photographers. This is his third book after “The Boys” (2002) and “Boys Uncovered” (2004), both published by Bruno Gmünder Publishing.
